Well hello there whoever you are, who is bored enough to read a blog of mine. How are you today? I'm quite well. Tired. Exhausted really, but it's all the same when you're trying to come up with some way to make a toothpick hold your eyelids open.
I had an interview today. It was the second one this week. First interview was at a Whole Foods around here. Which would have been lovely, but alas, they didn't call me back for a second interview. It would have been amazing. But since I'm only available from 3 pm on, it's a little harder to find a part time job that will want you for more than 3 or 4 days a week. Today's interview was at Price Chopper for the bakery. Which they only want someone for 16-20 hours a week. >.< Not enthused on that account. But I could keep myself on at Target for a few days a week so I could at least get 25 or 30. That would be lovely.
After getting back from my interview, Ethan told me that Piper was yelling as soon as I left, and continued to do so until I got back. She is definitely a mama's girl. He left. And I got the most amazing surprise ever. A nice thunderstorm that lasted the majority of the day. :) It made me happy. Me and Piper sat out on the back porch and enjoyed it for a while. I'm glad we do this. Because I don't want her to be one of those kids who will run into her parents bedroom every time it so much as thunders in the distance. My younger sister was one of those. It annoyed me and it wasn't even my bedroom she was running into. Back to the subject. It thundered really loud a couple times and she jumped, but it didn't scare her.
After a while it was nap time for her. So I put her down for her nap after --shockingly-- little to no resistance from her and washed some bottles, and watched Cold Case Files. Which was a wee bit strange because it was in KCMO and I live in the KC metro. Weird. It was very sad.
When she woke up and my mother got home from work, we all got ready to go and get my little sister's hair cut. She was super excited because she got her first "scene hair" do. I really just drives me nuts because she says she's the first one in her school to get it... and every other girl I see there has it. ¬_¬ Trying to be trendy much? But then again, I guess everyone went through a stage like that. It looks really cute on her, I just wish she wouldn't fall into the stereotypes like everyone else does. I thought I taught her better than that. Haha.
I got my favorite thing in the whole world EVER. A foot long coney dog from Sonic. /drool It was fantastic. The rest of my day has been equally uneventful. More of putting Piper to sleep for naps. More Cold Case Files, and Ghost Adventures, and some re-runs of Grey's Anatomy. And now here I am. Starting a blog that I probably won't keep up with. That no one will read, and will be forgotten.
The things that boredom spurs on.

PS: My favorite picture of Piper ever. The day she was born. 3/1/11
